I love this time of year! The Ashe home has been decked out in Christmas flair since Thanksgiving weekend and the Holiday turned into a month-long affair. We kicked the festivities off with the Sylva Christmas Parade. Eli met Santa Claus for the first time and seemed okay with the big guy. Apparently all the waving and parade hoopla wore the boy out because he crashed before we made it to where our gang was anxiously awaiting Eli’s parade debut. The weekends were lined up with Ashe family Christmas get togethers and Christmas Eve Eve Dinner with the McCall’s and Roland’s. Christmas Eve was full of Mexican traditions as well as some new ones. Christmas morning was spent eating breakfast, opening gifts and watching Eli play with his new toys. My birthday weekend was incredible. Happy New Year!
Me encanta la Navidad! La Casa de Ashe se viste con adornos de Navidad desde el fin de semana de Acción de Gracias y la celebración se ha convertido en un mes. Empezamos la fiesta con el Desfile de Navidad de Sylva el pasado fin de semana. Eli se reunió por primera vez con Santa Claus y le cayo bien. Las próximas semanas estuveron reservadas con reuniones de la familia Ashe y reuniones con nuestros amigos los McCall’s y los Roland’s. Noche Buena fue celebrada con tradiciones Mexicanas y algunas nuevas. La mañana de la Navidad se pasó comiendo desayuno, abriendo regalos y mirando a Eli jugar con sus nuevos juguetes. El fin de semana de mi cumpleaños fue increíble. Feliz año nuevo!

What a merry Christmas! So glad we got to see you guys. I think that was our first “crashing” at your place since the babies. Thanks for having us. We love you all.
